It’s all about the connections

The team of Jacob Boyd, Austin Brown, Bryce Gamper, and Nathan Mattson have moved on to their full scale installation that will take the shape of a modular handicap ramp.  The team started by modeling a section of the ramp in AutoCAD.  Then they attempted to mill the components on the CNC.  The first type of plywood they used was too warped to produce parts that fit together well.  After upgrading the quality of plywood they were able to get parts milled on the CNC that fit together perfectly.
